Bends, quirky rhythms, polyrhythms, and dramatic gestures combine to create a unique piece of literature that will pull your audience in. This is a contemporary work for saxophone quartet (soprano, alto, tenor, and bari) that explores different textures, dynamics, and rhythmic feels. While this piece offers a variety of stylistic sections, a melodic motive is heard throughout most of the sections. The piece builds to an exciting climax that will bring the house down. This piece comes with four parts and a score.

Raw Deal is a concert work for alto saxophone and piano that is action-packed. It combines a blend of contemporary techniques, jazz influences, and counterpoint to create an exciting ride with attitude. This piece would fit nicely in a jazz or classical saxophone recital because it bridges the gap between the two styles.
